As the weather is ramping up and summer is upon us, it seems only right we use the fabulous power of the sun to make us a delicious and refreshing drink!
Sun Tea is one of those really simple recipes you can make in advance and keep in the fridge for a cold and tasty drink you can reach for anytime or to serve to friends with ice and garnish such as mint or lemon balm or even a few raspberries!
You will need…
1 green or fruit tea of your choice per pint
Hot water
Large jug, preferably glass to prevent plastic toxins leaking
Boil your kettle, add the hot water to the tea bags in your jug and leave to brew outside in the sunshine until it has cooled. Take the teabags out and transfer the jug to the fridge where you can keep for 3 days.
When you serve, add ice and even a splash of honey if you prefer it a little sweeter.
Enjoy!
